User Oriented Services

For many years, Eunice Library has committed itself to its primary goal of optimizing existing library services and implementing new, user-oriented ones. Eunice Public Library is open 47 hours per week. 

Services include:

  • Brainfuse (live tutors available online)
  • Children’s programs
  • Chilton Auto Repair
  • Courier service between the consortium libraries
  • elinlib.org
  • Interlibrary loans with consortium and state library
  • Internet Access of 12 patron computers with Wi-Fi access
  • Meeting room
  • Notary services
  • Online library catalog
  • Overdrive audio Ebooks
  • Photocopies (regular and color) and fax service
  • Search for journal articles in the Gale database containing more than 12 thousand journals

Estacado Library Information Network

We are in the Estacado Library Information Network (ELIN) so the Eunice Public Library is linked with 5 other libraries:

  • Hobbs Public Library
  • Jal Woolworth Library

  • University of the Southwest Library

Library Fees

The 1st library card is free, but replacement cards are $5. The library offers free checkout of any materials. Late fees include:

  • Books: $0.05 per day
  • Movies: $1 per day

Other Fees

  • Color Copies: $0.50 per page
  • Computer Printouts: $0.25 per page
  • Copies: $0.20 per page
  • Fax: $1 per page
